Obituary

Matthew Wade Smith, age 35, lost his life suddenly late Friday night in a housefire in Broken Arrow, OK. Being a “Navy Brat”, Matt loved life and traveling. He traveled from Florida to California and all in between, even visiting the Netherlands and living in Japan. His family moved to Tulsa in 1988 and settled down in Broken Arrow, OK in 1992. Our beloved father, son and brother is survived by; his children, daughter, Memory and son, Caleb; father, Wendell; brother, Scott and wife Inga; sister, Buffie and husband Joe and their children, Ashley, Dallas and Austin; and grandmother, Josephine Williams. He was preceded in death by; mother, Buena Josette Smith; and grandfather, Vernon Williams. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thus. March 5, 2009 at the Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
