Obituary

     Pamela Jessie Bradford was born in Theale, England on April 2, 1935 and died peacefully in Catoosa, Oklahoma surrounded by family on September 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Garrison Bradford, and her parents, Kingsley and Gertrude Short (Reading, England). She is survived by her sister, Jennifer Henshall (Geoff) of Reading, England, sons Jerry Bradford (Karen) Brooksville, Florida and Richard Bradford (Alma) Catoosa, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Virginia Phillips (Charles) Irving, Texas and 9 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grand-children, and many nieces and nephews.

     Pamela and Henry met in England during the war and after his discharge they returned to the United States to live. They lived in there home in Tulsa for 64 years raising two sons. They had many cherished memories from their travels with family and friends in their RV after Henry’s retirement.

     Pamela was an avid seamstress, making wedding dresses, clothes, and quilts for many family members. She was a member of the Tulsa Orchid Society, winning various awards for her orchids. Pamela was also a long-time member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church where she participated in the choir, played the bells, and volunteered in the office.

Pamela will be dearly missed by all those that loved and knew her.
