Obituary

Phillip Michael Thompson, Sr., age 65, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born March 20, 1950 in Carthage, Arkansas to Frank Edward and Mildred Virginia Thompson. Phillip was a retired truck driver for Waste Management. He loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He also enjoyed camping and taking his motorcycle on long road trips. Country music and dancing was a great pass time for Phillip. Phillip is survived by his twelve children: Phillip Thompson, Jr. (Wynette) of Morris, Oklahoma; Lerrea McIntosh (Carl) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Maria Johnson of Pryor, Oklahoma; Pamela Drahos (B.J. Dougles) of Morris, Oklahoma; Virginia Gonzales (Joe) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Leanna Johnson (Rick McGlaughlin) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; D. J. Thompson (Adrienne) of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Brian Thompson (Christina Jones) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Brent Thompson (Melissa Warrick) of Claremore, Oklahoma; Starla Daniels (David) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Keith Thompson (Nikki) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Richard Brewer of Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with the mothers of his children: Sherry and Teresa. Also surviving are 48 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Mildred Thompson; son: Butch Eugene Thompson; brother: JB Thompson; granddaughter: Cassidy Drahos; grandson: Cameron Thompson; special cousin: Aaron Dale and friend of over 50 years: George Brown.
