Well its been a year sinve hes been gone now. Mike and Tommy got to be really close. Tommy had a way of lifting your spirits. We would go visit him in the hospital, trying to encourage and uplift him, and before we would leave the hospital, we would be the one uplifted or encouraged by something Tom would say to us. Oh and how he would call out to God to help him and thank the Lord for changing him like he did. Mike lost a true friend, and still hurts to this day, that he don't get to talk daily with him like they did. We loved Tommy. Once our daughter came with is to hospital, and she led the song, God is my refuge, He's a strong mighty tower I can run into. Then we all joined in and sung with her on chorus. Not a dry eye in the room. Tommy just raised his hands and was praising God for being that refuge to him. We will always love and miss you Tommy.
