Obituary

  Vivian “Oneida” Sheets Pebworth, 85, a lifelong resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, June 11, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Born     in Brandsville, Missouri on July 27, 1933 to Orville and Minnie (Brashear). Oneida would move to Tulsa with her family where she would attend Tulsa Public schools, graduating from Central High School.  Oneida would meet Sam J Pebworth at a local dance and they were soon married.  On occasion, Oneida would talk about what a good dancer Sam was. Oneida and Sam would be blessed with a son, Gary and a daughter Cindy. Oneida worked as a grocery cashier for many years, in insurance sales, and in her later years, as a caregiver for the disabled. Her life was spent in service to others.   She is preceded in death by her husband Sam, daughter Cindy, parents and one brother Robert Sheets.   She is survived by one son, Gary; Grandchildren: Justin Pebworth, Amber Pebworth. Azbell, Adam Cox, Jake Cox, and Gayla Grigsby and a host of other loved ones and friends.     Visitation for Ms. Pebworth will be help Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home from 9am-8pm. A graveside service will be help Monday, 2pm, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
