Hastings Matthews, age 86, passed away on March 5, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Matthews was born in Short, Oklahoma to Thomas and Lilly Mae Matthews. Hastings was the owner and operator of Matthews Excavating.Hastings is survived by his wife of 69 years, Glennie Matthews; children: Jim (Barbara) Matthews, Tom (Vera) Matthews, Marie Dobbs; daughter-in-law: Kathy Matthews; fifteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother: Harvey Matthews; sister: Lillian Hibbard.
